Search for a Job.
You can use either the quicksearch form or the regular search form on the home page.
Simply enter a keyword or words and press the 'Go!' button. The search engine will return
a search results page. The top of the search results page contains a fully functional search
box in case you want to revise your search. If any postings on our site match your query, the
lower part of the page will contain links to the individual postings. Clicking on a link will
(optionally) open up a new browser window to display the posting. You can move back and forth
between the 2 windows so that you do not have to keep reloading the search results.
You can use the option controls on the search forms to fine tune your search. If you need more
information about a specific option, click on the option's name on the form to see a short explanation.
Create a Sign On account.
Click on the My Help-Wanted button at the top of the page. This will bring you to the yellow
login form. Click on the FREE Sign Up... link under the login text boxes. This brings you to the Preferences
introduction page. Click on the Create a Sign-On link or scroll down the page to the Create a Sign-on
information. Read the short description and click on the link at the beginning of the section. This will bring
you to the sign-up form where you can create a new user account. Read the instruction on the page. Fill
in the blanks on the form with a user name, password, and email address. Include a hint for your
password in case you forget it and need to be reminded. When you are finished filling out the form, click on the
Add Sign On button on the bottom of the form.
When the form returns, your account will have been created and you will be logged in. You can start posting jobs
or resumes at this point.
Shortly, you should receive an email confirming your signup. You must reply to
this email before your postings will be made available to the public through our search tools.
During this test phase there are no confirming emails. Current posts are posted live as
soon as you Publish them (in the Control Center.)
